Gustav jobber som lektor på ved Olav Duun videregående skole i Namsos. Han underviser i norsk, historie og samfunnskunnskap. Gustav har lektorutdanning fra NTNU med en master i nordisk språk og litteratur. I tillegg har han skrevet en masteroppgave i likestilling og mangfold, også på NTNU, som handlet om seksualiserte skjellsord. Gustav har jobbet som underviser på Utøya siden 2018, og har et stort engasjement for å hjelpe andre med å finne sitt engasjement.
